Something shifted at NAB Show 2026 that Pro AV integrators should pay close attention to.

The show has always been broadcast territory: television studios, post-production houses, streaming platforms, media technology vendors. That audience is still there. But this year, more than 13,000 attendees identified as corporate media professionals, almost double the 2025 number.

NAB introduced a dedicated Enterprise Video Strategies track for the first time. The message from the show floor was not subtle. The enterprise client has arrived at broadcast. This is not a trend on the horizon. It is a client profile walking into integration briefs right now.

Broadcast-grade expectations inside corporate walls

Enterprise media teams are now expected to deliver the gravitas and visual credibility of traditional broadcasters, often within smaller, non-traditional spaces and with leaner teams. The in-house studio is no longer a nice-to-have for Fortune 500 communications teams. It is infrastructure. Executive communications, all-hands broadcasts, product launches, training content, and customer-facing video are driving demand for production environments that would have been unrecognisable in a corporate setting five years ago.

What corporate AV and enterprise teams want today is live-event production quality and standards inside the conference room: the same immersive audio solutions and PTZ cameras used on television sets and in sports production.

For the Pro AV integrator, this creates a specific challenge. The brief says conference room. The expectation is broadcast studio. Scoping, specifying, and delivering to that gap is where integration value is now being tested.

The convergence is no longer theoretical

At NAB 2026, the IPMX momentum confirmed a clear goal: create a seamless bridge between Pro AV and broadcast environments, enabling systems to speak the same language across traditionally siloed infrastructures. The IP-based media workflow that broadcast operations have been building for years is now the architecture enterprise AV/IT teams are being asked to integrate and support.

This means integrators specifying corporate environments are increasingly working with broadcast-grade signal chains, IP video standards, and production switching infrastructure that previously belonged exclusively to the television industry. The skill set required has expanded. The vendor relationships required have expanded. The client conversation required has expanded.

AI across the content lifecycle

Across the NAB Show floor, artificial intelligence was a major theme, with two dedicated AI pavilions and a significant increase in AI-focused exhibitors. For the broadcast community, AI in production workflows is already a practical reality.

For the enterprise video team building its first in-house studio, AI-assisted editing, captioning, asset management, and distribution are increasingly part of the specification conversation from day one.

The integrator who can speak to AI-enabled production workflows, not just room design, will be the one enterprise clients call first.

What NAB 2026 means for your next integration brief

Three things are worth bringing into client conversations as a direct result of what NAB 2026 confirmed.

First, qualify the production ambition early. An enterprise client building an in-house studio may be describing a conference room but expecting a broadcast facility. Surface that gap in the discovery phase, not after the specification is locked.

Second, broadcast-grade does not require broadcast budgets. Modular, adaptable set systems are being prioritised to deliver broadcast polish while remaining flexible as needs change, which is exactly the value proposition a skilled integrator should be leading with.

Third, the IP infrastructure conversation is coming whether the client initiates it or not. Enterprise networks and broadcast-grade video workflows are converging. Integrators who understand both sides of that convergence will be in the strongest advisory position as the enterprise broadcast market matures.

NAB 2026 was a broadcast show. But it sent a clear signal to the Pro AV community: the enterprise client is the next major growth market for broadcast-quality integration, and the window to build that capability is open now.
