We’re often asked what applications are most common in terms of ASKA3D holographic display technology. In fact, by the number of case wise particularly in Japan market, the reception machine is one of the most common application we deliver.
This newsletter highlights Sanyo Construction Co., Ltd.’s adoption of a holographic display for their new headquarters’ reception. In May 2023, the “ASKA3D Plate” was installed at their new headquarters in Mihara City, Hiroshima.
This advanced system allows remote reception operations, effectively unmanned and integrated with NTT Communications’ “TimeRep” and Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions’ “Terasu Guide.” This combination streamlines reception tasks and enhances customer service with a futuristic touch.

Another example that we would like to show is the case for Hiroshima Prefectural Government. They adopted the ASKA3D holographic technology in their reception machine as well. As you can see in the photo above, by selecting some menu, the visitors will get to see some avatar or animation. And this avatar is actually connected by tele-communication system to the workers inside the building. They can talk to the visitors. Because the avatar is displayed in the mid-air by ASKA3D holograph technology, the visitors have new experience as if they are actually talking to the real person real time.
So, it’s not only the hygiene environment that the ASKA3D is offering, the new futuristic feel of experience, that’s the value creation of ASKA3D technology.
