When Screens Watch Back: What AV Manufacturers Must Get Right About AI‑Enabled Digital Signage
Warner Bros. is pushing the boundaries of cinema by partnering with “shared reality” venue operator Cosm to redefine how audiences experience films through advanced audiovisual technology. This collaboration kicks off with an immersive screening of The Matrix starting June 6, with pre-sales beginning in mid-April.
Little Cinema, led by audiovisual artist Jay Rinsky, has tailored a new version of The Matrix to be showcased in Cosm’s massive 87-foot LED dome. This setup promises to plunge viewers directly into the film’s iconic scenes, offering an unparalleled immersive experience.
Cosm's venues, currently in Los Angeles and Dallas, are designed for communal viewing, combining theater-style seating with expansive, wall-sized screens. Moving beyond visuals, Cosm enriches the event with social engagement, food and beverages, and exclusive merchandise.
