Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) Features Proximity Join
Proximity Join is a feature designed to make joining Microsoft Teams meetings faster and more seamless.

🔍 What is Proximity Join?
Proximity Join allows a user to walk into a meeting room with their laptop or mobile device, and the room system (Microsoft Teams Room Certified UC System) will automatically detect the nearby Teams meeting room. The user can then join the meeting on the room system with a single tap, no need to manually enter meeting details or connect cables.

🧠 How It Works
🔅 Uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or ultrasound signals to detect nearby Teams Rooms.
🔅 The user's device must be signed into Microsoft Teams and have Bluetooth enabled.
🔅 When a scheduled Teams meeting is about to start, the MTR controller will show a prompt to join.
🔅 The user can tap “Join” on their personal device or on the MTR controller to start the meeting on the room system.
