Every day we see just how diverse the AV industry truly is. In our own professional video and presentation sector alone, there is always something exciting happening – from LED and displays to projectors, image processing and drone shows. New products and emerging technologies never fail to amaze us.

In our previous German-language podcast, we often discussed these exciting innovations – but why share them only with a German-speaking audience when there are interested listeners all over the world? That thought led to the creation of LANG Story Short.

The idea remains the same: to talk about the most exciting and up-to-date topics driving the AV world. Which trends are currently steering the industry in new directions? Which technologies are on everyone’s lips, shaping the products of today and tomorrow? What innovations are worth a closer look? And what do the people and thought leaders of our industry have to say?

New language, new voices

The biggest change becomes clear within the first seconds of our introductory episode: LANG Story Short is now in English. Instead of focusing solely on the German-speaking market, it simply makes sense to inform, entertain and share knowledge internationally.

With the switch to English comes a change in moderation as well: a total of three new hosts will be leading the episodes of LANG Story Short. At the core are Rebekka Gingell (Trainee) and Anton Stechonin (Marketing Manager), who will alternate in Lindlar, speaking with guests and gaining exciting insights into the industry.

In addition, Daniel Centelles (International Sales Manager) will act as our “host on the road”, meeting bright minds at trade shows, summits and other events in Germany and beyond, bringing fascinating perspectives on technology, trends and news.

What’s new, what stays the same

LANG Story Short brings many changes, but its essential core remains. It continues what made Nicht LANG Schnacken so distinctive: informative conversations with outstanding guests in a short amount of time.

The key difference will be a far greater reach – and for an industry as globally connected as AV, we believe that is exactly as it should be.

Episode 0 is already online: our three new hosts introduce themselves and share what they are most looking forward to in the episodes to come.
