Strategic Path: What Human and AI Collaboration Actually Sounds Like in 2026

I built this song using AI tools I had never touched before. The result surprised me. Here is what creating with AI taught me about collaboration, technology, and the future of live and hybrid experiences.

Most conversations about AI in the AV and events industry focus on what AI will replace.

I want to offer a different frame.

A few weeks ago I built a song called Humans and Machines using Suno, an AI music generation platform. I had never used it before. I gave it a theme, a direction, and a point of view. It built the music. I shaped the result.

The output was not what I expected. It was better than what I could have produced alone.

That is the point.

The AV and events industry is at the same inflection point. AI is entering the production stack. AI is entering the content workflow. AI is entering the room design process. The question is not whether to use it. The question is how to collaborate with it without losing what makes live and hybrid experiences powerful in the first place.

Human creativity. Human judgment. Human presence in the room.

The song has a line that captures it precisely.

Code and craft, hand in hand. Building dreams we understand. Solutions flow, a perfect blend. The journey never ends.

That is not a lyric about technology replacing craft. It is a lyric about what happens when you stop treating AI as a threat and start treating it as a collaborator.

The AV professionals who will lead the next decade are not the ones who resist AI adoption. They are the ones who govern it well. Who decide where human judgment stays in the lead. Who understand that the best outcomes come from the space between human expertise and AI capability.

Humans and Machines is available on my YouTube channel. The link is below.

The real question for this community: where in your production workflow are you already collaborating with AI, and where are you holding back?
