Hi Everyone,
Looking forward to meeting many of you this week at Infocomm 2024 in Las Vegas. Hopefully you have the council face to face meeting in your diaries for 12th June at 3.30pm at the Avixa Members lounge with a follow-on event for the council volunteers at 4.00pm at the same location.
Please feel free to reach out if you would like to catch up outside these times. I will be based at my company’s booth (Uniguest) in the west hall W2365 or email me at shaun.oxenham@uniguest.com
Some of the items I would like to discuss with MC members, based upon agenda items that have arisen in the first two meetings of the year:
Future meetings potential subject matter items: We have discussed the areas of interest that the MC would like perhaps expert speakers to attend for part of our meetings to give impartial overview/briefings as was done with the AI initiative. These included:
AV Consultant’s view of what their customers demand and future potential requirements of manufacturers from AV consultants.
Internation tariffs and the challenges manufacturers face with potential best practices and solutions.
How to bring in and develop younger talent into the AV manufacturing world.
Best or new practices to increase profitability within the AV manufacturing world.
Developing new protocols and APIs for wider adoption, deployment, and interoperability between manufacturers products.
Diversity, knowledge transfer from other knowledgeable councils.
If I have missed any items for consideration please let me know.
Perhaps we can set up a poll on the above items to give us a priority of interest.
Thanks
Shaun Oxenham - Manufacturer's Council Chair
