Emily is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas with degrees in Marketing and Instrumental Performance (Clarinet). She has experience in musical theatre, pit orchestra performance, venue management, music education, and social media management. During the summer of 2025 she served as a Content Delivery Intern for AVIXA. Emily currently attends Montclair State University, pursuing a Master of Music in Woodwind Doubling (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone).

Ben currently serves as the Head of Pro AV and the Sr. Director of Publishing for MarketScale, a B2B publisher and strategic marketing firm. He has over a decade of award winning experience in media publishing for large scale events, OTT & live streaming platforms, marketing, network television, and podcasting. Ben decided on his career path at the age of 7, and to date has led some of the most influential brands in the world including Intel, Nokia, Samsung and Segway, to billions of content interactions. A huge hockey fan (Go Stars!), and former contestant and current fan of Family Feud, Thomas resides in Dallas, Texas.

Entrepreneur of the AV industry and communication technologies. Enthusiastic and committed to people, in creating companies with a high human sense, passionate about marketing and new forms of digital communication. With more than 27 years of experience, I currently manage Viewhaus, my goal is to lead the company and make it a benchmark in the AV industry in Mexico, as well as being part of the most important AV service provider network around the world. I I volunteer for AVIXA Xchange and I am part of the AVIXA sustainability advisory group, this allows me to endorse my interest and commitment to sustainability, circular economies and the environment.

I am responsible for Global Industry Engagement for AVIXA, including all membership, councils, sponsorships, and engagement programs. Oversee global sales and account management programs including our global partner accounts. Member of Strategic leadership team with involvement in association operational management and product development to meet Member needs and deliver them profitably. This function engages AVIXA ProAV members across all segments and global regions to maximize Association membership growth, member engagement, and revenue.

I’m Douglas Hoag, Principal Consultant and owner of DCH Technology Consulting, based in Chicago, IL. With more than 15 years in the audiovisual industry, I specialize in consulting, design, and owner’s representative services for complex built environments. My work spans courtrooms, council chambers, emergency operations centers, police stations, and corporate experience spaces, where technology must seamlessly support both in-person and hybrid collaboration. At DCH Technology Consulting, I take a human-centered design approach—balancing AVIXA, SMPTE, AES, ANSI, and AIA best practices with real-world workflows. My background includes global technology standardization efforts with Fortune 500 clients as well as civic projects requiring coordination between state and county stakeholders. I focus on creating cohesive, intuitive systems that support transparency, equitable conferencing, and future-ready infrastructure through solutions like AVoverIP, broadcast integration, and smart workflow design. I’m passionate about helping architects, owners, and technology teams bring their vision to life with audiovisual systems that feel intentional, intuitive, and built to last.

The AVIXA Board of Directors created the Sustainability Advisory Group in 2023 to find resources and support the Pro-AV Industry in becoming more sustainable. It is comprised of an expert group of volunteers who meet regularly to collaboratively assist both the community and AVIXA.

Para mí, aprender no es un privilegio de unos pocos, sino una capacidad que puede potenciarse con el apoyo adecuado. Tengo más de 7 años trabajando con emprendedores que venden sus conocimientos y experiencias por medio de un curso online. Investigo el aprendizaje online y la alfabetización digital. Cuento con un diplomado en Componente Docente por la Universidad Central de Venezuela y tres investigaciones publicadas desde 2023.

Returning to the NYC area after two years teaching ESL in Taipei, Taiwan, with prior experience as an audiovisual design engineer on commercial projects in New York City. Actively seeking AV design engineering opportunities in the greater NYC area. Passionate about audiovisual systems, with a strong interest in the intersection of audio technology, project management, and finance. Grateful to the AV industry for providing a technically rigorous and creative environment to apply both analytical and technical skill sets. Currently studying for the AVIXA CTS certification and eager to contribute to a collaborative AV design team delivering high-quality, integrated systems.
