I’m an executive leader and Senior AV Engineer with about 20 years in the audiovisual and technology world (long enough to have seen everything from flawless show control to cables that definitely weren’t supposed to be plugged in there). My background spans installation, service, project management, commissioning, and design, which means I’ve been a part of every phase of complex technology projects. I’ve led engineering teams at both a globally recognized architectural firm and a major international systems integrator, giving me a front‑row seat to how great ideas become real‑world systems. My specialty is crafting customized designs that fit each client’s environment, goals, and budget, because no two spaces (or budgets) are ever the same.

Having worked every position in the AV industry, I have a pretty wide skill set which has helped me tremendously as a business owner. I work to improve businesses abilities to communicate effectively and do so with a care-first mindset.

You may also know her as @NerdyGirlAV. Jenn is an active leader within the AVIXA Diversity Council, serving as chair since 2024. Jenn was also a part of SCN The Nine: Class of 2021 and Class of 2022 Commercial Integrators 40 Under 40. She’s passionate about creating opportunities for incoming folks into the industry and advocating for neurodiversity and mental health awareness. Her experience in AV ranges from project coordination, rentals, marketing, sales, service, AV consulting, and she currently works as a design engineer with AVI-SPL. Something you may not know about her is that she achieved her BS in Media Arts & Design at James Madison University and her Master's in Sociology at The New School for Social Research.
