I am Tanya Houston, the CEO of Wildwood Plus, a specialist PR and marketing agency I founded in 1994. With well over 30 years of experience in the industry, I am committed to supporting women in the technology and AV industry. As the co-lead for the AVIXA Women's Council in the UK, I focus on making connections, amplifying voices and creating opportunities to support women and allies working in, and dreaming of a career in, AV and its associated industries.
At Wildwood+, we work with manufacturers, service providers, consultants, designers and installers helping to tell their stories and make connections. We are also agency for AVIXA, CEDIA and ISE - and we love to help make connections and grow businesses together.
As AVIXA's manager of editorial content, I bring to the role fifteen years of marketing experience and ten working predominantly in editorial and video content. I've spent many years in the entertainment industry working for Nickelodeon, Lucasfilm, Disney, and even a small theater in the heart of Florence, Italy. I love great stories and finding the right way to tell them. I am also a stop-motion animation aficionado who makes puppets and writes books. Hi! I’m Lindsey—a passionate AV professional driven to design innovative, people-centered systems that not only simplify communication but also captivate and inspire everyone who interacts with them. I entered the AV industry in 2022 as a Project Manager and eventually transitioned into Account Management, where I thrive at the intersection of technical design and client advocacy. With experience at industry leaders like AVI-SPL and Ford Audio-Video, I bring real-world insight and a people-centric approach to every project.
Currently pursuing my CTS-D, I’m also a driven advocate for diversity and equality in the AV industry. I believe that inclusive teams build better systems—and better futures. Whether I’m designing pre-sale solutions or speaking to the next generation of AV professionals, I aim to leave a lasting impact through both electricity and expertise.
