Digital Signage SaaS Channel Manager. Former AV Integrator (about 10 years), from Technician, to Tech Ops Manager, when the recession hit I got into sales and eventually the VP of Sales.   Proud Husband & Father.  My wife and I both served in the Army NG, where I had the invaluable experience of being an Infantry Officer and served a tour in Iraq.  My wife returned to Active Duty which is what took me away from my beloved AV Integration.  In 2019, I had the pleasure of joining the leading manufacturer in Digital Signage hardware.  I not only had the opportunity to learn and love the manufacturing side of the AV Industry but the often overlooked Digital Signage Marketspace.   2022 our family was ordered to be stationed in Fort Sam (TX), which brought me over to the SaaS side of AV/IT/Digital Signage & Corporate Communications.  As a SaaS company, we're almost 100% remote.  

AV professional experienced in system design, installation, control programming, troubleshooting, RMA processes. Currently working as AV designer for Plan Group with prior experience with Extron (OEM), VMWare (end user). At work, I am all ears for all AV talks. Videowalls are my favorite part of AV and signal processing and distribution is my bread and butter. Projection systems are still a 'Why this' for me and docking stations make things interesting. Audio processors are a 'How' for me and video processors are a 'Wow'. UCC is a path less taken and controllers are the boxes that brought me to AV. Live events are the greener grass on the other side. Off work, I'm a beer with pizza kinda person with occasional buffet ventures. Fond of driving in mountainous terrain and roam around in the city on my motorbike.

I have spent years writing for a variety of media in a continually changing landscape. I grew from journalism roots into writing award-winning, engaging alumni newsletters for higher education on a variety of topics to convey complicated information to general audiences. The skills gained there meshed with a master’s degree in creative writing and transferred into content marketing in the AV manufacturing field. I advise, support and execute the creation of engaging, strategic messaging that strengthens connections and meets organizational goals to increase public visibility.

Ryan Gray, M.Ed., CTS, is Director of Technology Engagement and Strategy at Yavapai College based in Northern Arizona. He holds Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Media Arts from Arizona State University and a Master of Education in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University. Ryan is passionate about creating high quality technology driven experiences for students, faculty and staff.  He drives attention towards a focus on user experience, the constant incubation of new ideas and the creation of genuine community. URSA 12K Netflix Camera: With this camera, I can capture stunning footage, ideal for professional projects. URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 Netflix Camera: Another fantastic camera from Blackmagic Design, which I frequently use for my video work. Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro w/ DaVinci Resolve: This compact camera, combined with DaVinci Resolve software, provides excellent results for my content creation. When it comes to point-and-shoot cameras that are easy to use and versatile, I highly recommend FujiFilm  and Sigma. These are some of my go-to options: Fujifilm X-T30 II Camera: This camera is perfect for capturing high-quality photos and videos effortlessly. Fujifilm X-T5: Another excellent option from FujiFilm, providing exceptional performance for my photography and videography needs. Sigma fp and fp L Mirrorless Camera: These mirrorless cameras offer great flexibility and produce impressive results. And are the size of a deck of cards  Fujifilm X-S20,  this is my new go to for hiking,  Now, let's talk about lenses, which are an essential part of my gear: Sigma Art Lens: I simply can't get enough of these lenses. They deliver exceptional image quality and are a joy to use. Tokina Cinema Lens: When it comes to cinema lenses, the more options, the better. Tokina offers a fantastic range of lenses that cater to my specific requirements. Meike Cinema Lens : We all know that as photographers and videographers, we can never have too many lenses.
