I'm wondering what place uncorrelated sound wave loudspeakers should have in Interactive Installations. 165° conical coverage, unchanging stereo image in every square foot of a venue, (from to back, left to right, floor to balcony) no comb filtering or echoes. DML uncorrelated sound waves
Nice article. Perhaps there's an update opportunity regarding "Sound Indoors." A new speaker technology employing uncorrelated sound waves radically reduces the need for acoustic treatments indoors. It's called "DML" Oversimplified, DML behavior is akin to bringing outdoor loudspeaker behavior indoors...no echoes, comb filtering, hot and dead spots, and freakishly consistent stereo imaging in every square foot of an indoor venue.
