Career pivot

Hello everyone, So, I've been a TV editor in Hollywood for the past 25 years but I'm now one of the many looking for a career pivot as Hollywood falls victim to cost-cutting, mergers, and off-shoring. At 57 (not worried about the physical aspect) am I too old to get started in the AV world? If not, what do you think would be the best approach? I've already started the AVIXA lessons from page one.Thanks
