His latest mission has been to cultivate communities and develop engaging content, garnering a decade of experience in marketing, production, and digital media. After serving as a Communication Consultant for the United Nations (UNDP), Matt would go on to complete a Master’s in Communication at Purdue University. In this current chapter, Matt leverages his passions for media and technology to serve ISDA as a thought leader in the public sector. He is also an AVIXA XChange Advocate, contributing to content that cultivates conversation in the pro AV community. 

I have been working for Budee China for 9 years as a communication manager, acting as a bridge of communication between Budee and manufacturers. Budee China started in 2002 as a small dealer of pro audio hardware, building up over the years and establishing branches beyond its Beijing headquarters in Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Hong Kong. A dynamic presenter, award-winning author and recognized industry personality, Joseph Cornwall has held management and technical positions in broadcast, residential and commercial AV markets for well over 30 years.  He’s been awarded InfoComm Educator of the Year, is an AVIXA faculty member and was inducted into the System Contractor News Hall of Fame for his achievements in pro AV. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, he holds CTS-D, CTS-I, ISF-C, and FOI industry certifications. Joe identifies himself as an AV Technology Evangelist at Large and is retired from the daily grind.
