Video is eye-catching, entertaining, informative…a powerful way to communicate your message quickly and clearly, and a compelling addition to posts on Xchange!

Any user that can Create a Post can use the “Insert/Edit Media” button in the rich text editor to post a video. This includes all individual users as well as any providers with an Active or Enhanced Profile.

Here’s how you can enhance your posts by embedding video and social media content:

YouTube

Click the Share button below the video and select 'Embed', which will allow you to copy the embed text.

Vimeo

On the video edit page, click the Share tab in the top right-hand corner of the page and select Copy embed code which will copy an iframe code to your clipboard.

Google Drive

If you would like to embed a video from your Google Drive, you will first need to open the video file and click the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the page. This will give you the option to Open in new window.

Once in the new tab, click the three dots once again and you should see the option to 'Embed item...' which will provide you with the embed code.

Social Media

Twitter

On the post you wish to embed into your Zapnito content, click on the ellipses in the top right-hand corner and select Embed Tweet, which will enable you to copy the code to your clipboard, whilst displaying a preview of what the embedded post will look like.

LinkedIn

Similarly, for LinkedIn content, you can embed a post by clicking on the ellipses in the top right-hand corner and selecting Embed this post.

Web tip - On websites I recommend using a video SEO plugin (I use yoast). Recently Google began indexing all video, that has indexable structured data tags. You can check Google SEO console to see if Google succeeded (or didn't) with yours.
