Countdown to ISE 2026: Suites, Summits, and Other News
On February 3-6, Integrated Systems Europe will return to the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via. Let’s gear up for the show together! In this series, we’ll cover several topics leading up to ISE 2026, from information on education sessions to exhibitors.
The world of integrated systems is evolving at an extraordinarily rapid pace, driven by breakthroughs in AI, cybersecurity, and more. At ISE 2026, the world-renowned annual tech show for the audiovisual and systems integration industry, these advancements will be front and center.
This year’s theme, “Push Beyond,” perfectly encapsulates the spirit of innovation and ambition that you’ll find at the show. Let’s check out some updates on ISE 2026, including the announcement of a new summit, state-of-the-art listening suites, and other additions.
New Cybersecurity Summit
When digital threats extend far beyond traditional IT concerns, the AV sector finds itself at a pivotal juncture. As governments and industries around the world enforce stricter cybersecurity regulations, it impacts how AV systems are designed, deployed, and managed. This is why ISE is introducing its Cybersecurity Summit.
Held on February 5, 2026, the Cybersecurity Summit will be chaired by Pere Ferrer i Sastre, former Director General of the Catalan Police, who has over 15 years of experience in public safety, digital transformation, and critical infrastructure management. The summit will also feature keynotes and panel discussions with leading experts from both the AV and cybersecurity sectors, including Shaun Reardon (DNV Cyber) on building cyber resilience, Timo Kosig and Andrew Dowsett (Barco Control Rooms) on secure operations, Pedro Pablo Pérez (TRC) on protecting corporate communications, and many others.
The launch of the summit follows high-profile cyberattacks on hospitals, transportation networks, and government services, which demonstrate how fast-moving threats can disrupt critical operations. It will tackle several aspects of digital risk, including regulation, integration, and resilience, leaving you with a roadmap that you can adapt for your own business strategies.
Other summits, such as the Digital Signage Summit, Education Technology Summit, Smart Workplace Summit, and more, are also available.
EdTech Congress
For higher-ed AV professionals, ISE is partnering with EduTech Cluster and Fira de Barcelona to co-host the EdTech Congress on February 4–5 at the Palau de Congressos.
The 2-day occasion is set to be one of the leading events in the education calendar. It will feature an extensive content programme focusing on AI and its impact on education, including forward-thinking concepts and transformative products that are shaping the classroom of the future.
“We aim to introduce attendees to forward-thinking concepts and transformative products that can enrich learning environments. Together, we are creating a platform that pushes the boundaries of 21st-century learning and inspires the design of the classrooms of tomorrow,” said Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events, in an ISE press release.
Ramon Eixarch, President of EduTech Cluster, added, “Our focus on AI for the 2026 edition reflects our belief that technology, when used with purpose, can empower teachers, engage students, and close learning gaps worldwide.”
We invite visitors to join and shape the future of education and systems integration together!
