The Challenge: Finding Available Rooms

With a large student population and dedicated staff, ad hoc meetings happen frequently. However, finding an available meeting room on short notice was often a challenge, leading to wasted time and frustration for both students and staff.

The Solution: Reflex Online Software & ProDVX Hardware

To overcome the challenge, Rijn IJssel partnered with Reflex Online and  ProDVX to implement a modern room booking solution. Reflex Online’s software provides real-time room availability and integrates seamlessly with Outlook calendars, enabling both advance reservations and instant on-the-spot bookings.

Complementing the software, Rijn IJssel chose the ProDVX APPC-10SLB, whose Surround LED Bar clearly shows whether rooms are available or occupied. Thanks to Power over Ethernet, the devices could be installed easily without extending the building’s power grid, while ProDVX’s flexible wall and glass mounts ensured a smooth rollout across different types of meeting spaces.
