If you’ve been to InfoComm before, you know the drill. The show floor moves fast, the days run long, and somewhere between your second demo and third conversation, you realize all you’ve consumed that day was your morning coffee. That’s where a little planning can really make all the difference.

From food trucks and grab-and-go counters to global flavors tucked into the exhibit halls, InfoComm offers plenty of ways to stay fueled without having to step too far away from the action. Here’s how to navigate the food scene at InfoComm like a pro.

Start Strong: Coffee and Easy Fuel

For many attendees, the day starts with an immediate walk to sessions or booth meetings. You’ll probably need a coffee to get you motivated for a very long day of conversation.

The good news? You won’t have to look far. (And for my fellow New Englanders, there is Dunkin if you're feeling homesick.)

  • Starbucks anchors the Central Building most mornings, often opening as early as 7:00 AM and running into the afternoon.
  • Dunkin Express and donut carts add options, especially near the West and North areas.
  • Today’s Espresso locations offer a slightly more boutique caffeine stop between sessions.

If you’re looking for something more substantial (or trying to avoid the mid-morning crash), Chomp Chomp Grab & Go and Go Natural provide easy, diet-friendly breakfast and snack options—including vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free choices.

Pro tip: If you’ve got an early session, grab your breakfast before 8:30 AM. Lines ramp up quickly once the show floor starts buzzing.

Midday Reset: Food Trucks and Fresh Air

By late morning, the gravitational pull of the food trucks outside the Grand Lobby becomes very real.
Running from roughly 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on multiple days, these trucks bring a casual, social energy to the show:

  • Custom Pizza for a quick slice
  • Nogakes Kitchen (Filipino) for something a bit different
  • Sin City for that Vegas-style street food vibe

As the week progresses, the lineup expands to include Truk N Yaki and King’s Sausage, adding even more variety.

The food truck area tends to become a networking zone more than just a place to crash and eat. You’ll see impromptu meetings, team regroup sessions, and plenty of people talking shop between bites.

Pro tip: Aim for a slightly early (11:15 AM) or late (1:45 PM) lunch to avoid peak lines.

On the Show Floor: Quick and Reliable Eats

If you’d rather stay inside, the exhibit halls have you covered.

Central Building

The Grand Lobby area is home to consistent, crowd-pleasing staples:

  • Atomic Pizza and Brand Burger
  • Southwest Grill and Fancy Wok
  • The Roost and Frank’s Hot Dogs & Flat Pie

Nearby, you’ll also find quick stops like Walla Pao Express, Market Fresh, and classic snack options (pretzels, slices, sandwiches).

North Hall

The AVenue Eats area has a full spectrum of options (and I love a good AV pun):

  • Gyros, burritos, and pizza
  • Açaí bowls and healthy grab-and-go
  • Global street food and specialty carts

There’s even a mix of dietary-focused vendors, making it easy to find something that fits your preferences without a long search.

West Building

If you need a breather, the West Food Court offers a slightly calmer pace, anchored by Dunkin and Go Natural options.

Healthy and Dietary-Friendly Options

One of the standout trends this year is the sheer number of dietary-conscious choices.
Across the venue, you’ll find options clearly marked:

  • Vegan (V)
  • Vegetarian (VG)
  • Gluten-free (GF)
  • Dairy-free (DF)

If you’re looking for something light and healthy, Go Natural, Healthy Grill Bowls, and açaí-focused carts make it easy to stay energized without relying on heavier, slower options.

If your goal is to keep your energy up across a full day of demos, meetings, and networking, these spots are worth seeking out.

Eating Strategically at InfoComm

The reality of a trade show is that most people eat at noon. Even if they know it’s a bad decision, they rarely change their schedule (especially if they’re fully booked). That means lines, crowds, and lost time if you don’t think ahead.

A few simple strategies can help:

  • Bring a snack: Toss some easy food in your bag so you’re not starving come noon
  • Shift your schedule: Eat earlier or later than the crowd
  • Know your zones: Pick convenient food near your next session or meeting
  • Mix it up: Alternate between food trucks and hall vendors all week
  • Grab and go when needed: Especially between back-to-back commitments

As the Week Evolves, So Does the Menu

Early in the week, the focus leans on core options and food trucks. By midweek, the full ecosystem comes to life, with expanded hours and the widest variety across halls. By the final days, some vendors begin to scale back, so if there’s a must-try spot on your list, don’t wait too long.
