Jabra and Lenovo Expand Collaboration to Deliver First Full Microsoft Teams Rooms System

Jabra and Lenovo are pooling their resources to enhance the Microsoft Teams Rooms experience. The full room kit features Jabra’s PanaCast 50 and Lenovo’s ThinkSmart Core Kit.  The PanaCast 50 offers a 180-degree view so every attendee can be seen. The ThinkSmart Core Kit includes the ThinkSmart Core with an 11th Gen Intel® Core™ vPro® processor and the ThinkSmart Controller , a 10-point touch HD display. Great Things Come in 3’s: Hall Technologies Adds Three Experienced AV Veterans to their Team

Hall Technologies, the end-to-end AV solutions company, has added three new but very experienced team members to their sales and engineering departments. These new faces include:

  • Scott Ettinger, Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern Region. Scott previously worked for Atlona sales and comes to Hall Technologies with many industry connections and many years of sales experience under his belt.
  • Luis Palomo, Customer Support Manager. Luis has previously served in project management and as an IT/IS Systems Analyst, roles that have prepared him well to interface with and assist customers.
  • Nathan Munter, Software Application Engineer. Munter originally started his career in residential AV programming before switching to working for companies like Whitlock and Atlona in the commercial sector. He will be working on Hall Technology’s AVoIP portfolio.

Collaboration Tool Quality Is Essential for Remote Employees to be Seen and Heard

A recent report by Barco titled “Exploring the Challenges of The Hybrid Workplace” revealed some frustrations remote and hybrid employees are facing. Barco found that while 80% of staff prefer a hybrid schedule:

  • 71% feel stressed and frustrated in hybrid meetings
  • 35% find it difficult to engage during hybrid meetings
  • 25% have difficulty speaking up
