I love the AV industry. It provided me with a living that allowed me to support my family since the 1980s. It has allowed me to see interesting places and meet friendly, hard-working people all over North America, all the while being paid. I have worked in hotels, events, conventions, corporate in-house and higher education areas of our field.
Another thing that I have loved about AV is that the technology is always changing; you have to keep your knowledge base current and that has always kept me engaged.
