Philip DiPaula brings a vast range of audio and video system expertise and commitment to supporting customers throughout the country that require creative technical solutions, extensive project experience, and long-term support capabilities. DiPaula, an honors graduate in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, began his career with Maryland Sound Industries (MSI), specializing in live sound production. During his seven-year tenure at MSI, DiPaula was instrumental in developing MSI’s permanent systems division and working as a systems engineer with project management responsibilities on large international themed entertainment projects. As a founding member and partner of SPL Integrated Solutions, he dedicated twenty-three years as a project engineer and asset to the sales management team.  Working out of SPL’s Orlando location, he developed and led his team working on themed entertainment and large-scale audiovisual systems. For six years at Electrosonic, he served on the sales team to continue the development of immersive experiences.  As Director of Immersive Systems with Clair Global Integration, DiPaula aims to further his sales and business development focus to enhance the museum and immersive entertainment experiences.

I am the CEO and Co-founder of ASK Consultants, a company dedicated to designing and creating solutions for all infrastructure technological needs. With over 32 years of experience in the consulting industry, i have established a strong presence both in India and Overseas in various industries. My deep understanding of technology fuels the innovative solutions we create, enabling businesses to succeed in the digital realm.

I am a production and AVL expert dedicated to bringing creative visions and concepts to life. I left my production home of 16 years in November 2021 and am currently building my own consulting business while keeping my options open for the right opportunity.  Since 1994, I have had the opportunity - both as a freelancer, small business owner, and an executive team leader - to work in delivering solutions on a scale that most people rarely see while up against timelines that seem impossible. My diverse, well-rounded background allows me to understand almost any organization or project's technical, creative, time management, and team building needs. I pride myself on the ability to creatively overcome challenges while creating an enjoyable experience for both my team and our clients along the way. I believe the job of a true leader is about more than creating and executing a strategic vision or strategy. It is about being a trusted team member, mentor, and leader. I entered the AV industry in 2001 after a 20 year career in the software industry while based in Chicago, writing software tools for companies like Microsoft, Google and Oracle and executing more than a dozen M&A transactions building a network of software developers creating linguistic and search and retrieval tools.    In 2001, I started with AMX and "learned the ropes" in the AV industry meeting many integrators, manufacturers, consultants and end users, who collectively induced my passion for this industry.   In 2010, I joined RGB Spectrum in Alameda, CA, and currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer overseeing all sales, marketing, development, operations, and IT functions of the company. In my spare time, I am raising a pre-teen son and his two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, volunteer at AVIXA and do a fair amount of creation in the kitchen, most recently with a focus on southeast Asian cuisines and fermentation.
