Senior Director of Development for AVIXA in EMEA with over 20 years experience in AV and IT industries. Started off in sound engineering in the late 90s then pursued a career in IT. After working in web development I returned to AV and have not looked back! I do at times pine to work more directly with the amazing technology available today to help create great AV experiences but I do get to see them being shared and celebrated! A fateful chat over the bar one night, while pouring a pint for an AV manager, started me on my journey to a career in AV. It proved to be life changing chat and I haven't looked back! I started working as an onsite technician where I learned about maintenance, install and end user support, picking up my CTS and a variety of manufacturer certifications in between helping CEOs, lecturers and students use technology to meet their needs. Now I work for an integrator writing tender proposals, ensuring our customers get the high quality and honest service that I expected when I was in their position.
