I am a production and AVL expert dedicated to bringing creative visions and concepts to life. I left my production home of 16 years in November 2021 and am currently building my own consulting business while keeping my options open for the right opportunity.  Since 1994, I have had the opportunity - both as a freelancer, small business owner, and an executive team leader - to work in delivering solutions on a scale that most people rarely see while up against timelines that seem impossible. My diverse, well-rounded background allows me to understand almost any organization or project's technical, creative, time management, and team building needs. I pride myself on the ability to creatively overcome challenges while creating an enjoyable experience for both my team and our clients along the way. AVIXA Mourns the Loss of Brad Sousa

Up through May 2022, I managed the AV Engineering & Operations team at the University of North Georgia. We maintained multiple campuses of classrooms with control systems in each and we worked with a team of support technicians who handle work on incident management while we handled incident escalations as well as problem management, change management, and request fulfillment (to use the ITIL vernacular). In May 2022, I became a Design Engineer 1 for AVI-SPL, based out of the Atlanta, GA office. I worked with the Account Managers to design systems for customers prior to sales, then worked with the post sales team once a system is purchased. Over the next two years, I was promoted to Design Engineer 2. In October 2024, I became an Engineering Manager for AVI-SPL, managing the Design Engineers and Project Engineers in the Atlanta, GA office.

In the AV Industry for more than 30 years, passing through virtualy all areas, as design, installation, commissioning/programing, sales and market development. Actually Head of AV Convergint, Mexico. AVIXA volunteer in the CTS-D exam review and in the J-STD Symbology standard revision. Amateur (and frustated) guitarist and mountain biker.
