Hospitality Leadership: Served as Director of AV at several high-profile locations, including: Ritz-Carlton South Beach Hyatt Pier 66 Mandarin Oriental NYC Enterprise Global AV: Led global AV operations at Intercom, managing standardizations across Chicago, San Francisco, Dublin, London, and Sydney. Specialized Technologist Roles: Supported UL University at UL as a Senior Technologist. Led IT operations for Nordstrom Trunk Club. Managed 2,200+ Meraki networks at Groupon. Supported 700+ VMs at Duck Creek. Current Role: Senior AV Engineer at Wintrust Financial, where we are currently modernizing AV across hundreds of rooms and satellite offices. Consultancy: Founded ShortWave Echo in 2023, leading AV programs for Chase and Northwestern Mutual through 2025. DS Development & APEX Platform In early 2025, founded DS Development to build APEX, an AV operations platform designed for in-house teams and integrators. Core Architecture: Designed the platform end-to-end with a multi-tenant architecture and a comprehensive API. Key Integrations: Built-in support for major industry hardware and software, including Cisco, Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Microsoft Teams, and ServiceNow. Compliance Standards: Designed from the start to meet SOC 2, SOX, and HIPAA security models. Launch Date: Scheduled for July 6, 2026.
