A fateful chat over the bar one night, while pouring a pint for an AV manager, started me on my journey to a career in AV. It proved to be life changing chat and I haven't looked back! I started working as an onsite technician where I learned about maintenance, install and end user support, picking up my CTS and a variety of manufacturer certifications in between helping CEOs, lecturers and students use technology to meet their needs. Now I work for an integrator writing tender proposals, ensuring our customers get the high quality and honest service that I expected when I was in their position.
I am an engineer specialize on acoustic, I started to design at 2019 and immediately I loved that part of integration. Making devices work together.
As an Information Research Specialist and Digital and Motion Picture Archivist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, I support the NSRC in Digital Collections, which includes the LANL Archives. I have more than six years of experience in media production and services, and a Bachelor of Arts in Moving Image Arts from the College of Santa Fe. I use my skills in digitizing, editing, metadata creation, file management, and customer service to preserve and enhance the historical and scientific legacy of LANL and its customers. I collaborate with archivists, librarians, and technicians to use various digitizing equipment and software, and to deliver high-quality media products and services. I am passionate about Los Alamos and its history, and I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
