The mission of the Technology Managers Council is to create a community for current and future technology management professionals to discuss our collective interests, share best practices and diverse perspectives while collaborating with other AVIXA groups and the industry as a whole, while also supporting existing and emerging audiovisual technology, and creating solutions as a service. We intend to further this mission by serving as subject matter experts for our institutions and companies, advocating for them and our clients, and by serving as liaisons to manufacturers and integrators, sharing valuable feedback based on our real-world experiences in the interest of our mutual benefit.

The purpose of the Systems Integrators Council is to help advance the interests and capabilities of system integrators in the audiovisual industry by emphasizing standards and best practices, supporting continuing education, and increasing industry outreach with an eye on recruitment and retention. I’m a graduate in Bachelor of Computer Applications and also hold a Diploma in Audio Engineering, along with certification and training in L-Acoustics  System Experts Training,  Soundvision, K1, K2, and Kara II Systems, M1-P1 Measurement & Tuning, Drive System, System Implementation and System & Workflow, as well as Sound System Optimization by d&b audiotechnik. I’m also an AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist - Installation and am preparing for CTS-D. I have over 12 years of experience in the AV industry, working across live events, sound rental, and cruise ship entertainment. I spent 3 years with SOUND.COM Pvt. Ltd. (India) in a sound rental environment, followed by roles as an Audio Technician on Virgin Voyages and Celebrity Cruises, handling live shows and onboard productions. More recently, I worked as a Senior Sound Engineer with PRG Middle East for one year and I am currently freelancing. I have ample experience using the audio equipment, tools, and software involved in live sound. In addition to this, I have engineered a number of successful live shows during my tenure of work. I am well capable of operating audio equipment used in live sound reinforcement

I am an experienced AV Project Engineer with a strong passion for designing, engineering, and commissioning advanced audiovisual systems for a wide range of clients and projects. Over the past six years, I have held roles as AV Project Engineer, AV Implementation Engineer, and Senior Design Engineer with organizations such as SPOR Group, Hitplay, and Analytix Solutions. I bring a blend of technical expertise and project leadership, supported by multiple Dante certifications and proficiency in Bluebeam. My background in AV system design and basic engineering enables me to create, review, and optimize drawings and schematics with precision and efficiency. I thrive on delivering innovative, reliable solutions and collaborating with teams to bring complex audiovisual concepts to life.

With a background in stage management, Trent’s unique perspective on project work emphasizes creative excellence and practical execution in service of the greater good for clients, teams, and the world. In 2003, I began my professional career at BIS Digital, a company specializing in audio and video solutions for the judicial and government markets. My role as a network administrator quickly evolved as I demonstrated exceptional skill in developing and implementing advanced AV systems. As their Director of Technical Services, I oversaw the design, implementation, training and support of over 6000 courtrooms and municipal chambers.  I was recruited by Wolfvision in 2020, a leading provider of presentation and collaboration solutions.  I was tasked with developing the judicial and government markets. I have leveraged my expertise in IT and AV technology, which became instrumental in modernizing courtrooms and government facilities. I have spearheaded projects to install state-of-the-art AV systems, ensuring secure and reliable communication during legal proceedings.  Notable projects include the overhaul of the AV infrastructure in multiple state & federal courthouses, integrating presentation, collaboration & distribution solutions in states such as Florida, Georgia, Nebraska and Utah as well as on the island of Puerto Rico.
