Any chance of adding an educational resources category?

I was thinking specifically of Youtube channels, but would hate to limit the idea to that. There are some excellent content creators out there who focus specifically on AV and can help folks understand concepts in a way that other methods can't - as well as introducing fresh ideas. A couple of my favorites are Audio University (have worked with him before as a vendor), Hexibase, and Erin's Audio Corner.

Barrett, thanks for raising this idea! Having these talented content creators share their expertise here on Xchange would be invaluable as their contributions significantly impact a project’s success. Rather than pooling these resources into a common space however, it would be beneficial if they would share them across the Channels & Rooms. That way, someone interested in digital signage, for example, would see posts from a content creator specific to applications for digital signage. Likewise for learning environments, entertainment venues, etc. As with everyone on Xchange, individuals are welcome to post and a post can be as simple as sharing a YouTube link or link to a case study, etc.

Beyond inspiring the community with their work, if there is an interest among several content creators who would find value in collaborating in a dedicated Room, we can certainly consider that!

Note: Any content creators interested in appearing in the AV Provider Directory and establishing a presence for your company, please contact Xchange@avixa.org
