Augmented Reality Ride at Super Nintendo World

Many are wondering: what rides will be at Epic Universe? If you’re a fan of tech or video games, here’s one ride you can’t miss out on!

The interactive dark ride, Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, combines augmented reality headsets with real-world racing elements. Guests navigate through iconic tracks like Cloudtop Cruise and Rainbow Road while aiming shells at Koopa Troopas alongside Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and other recognizable characters. With AR bringing these courses to life, it's a ride that really makes you feel like you’ve jumped into the games, competing against Team Bowser.

Interactive Experiences at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Just like in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, you'll be able to make your way through the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic with amazing new interactive wand experiences. So, have your wands at the ready, or stop by Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique if you need to pick one up!

Plus, fans of live shows can catch Le Cirque Arcanus, a full-scale theater experience that blends live performances, puppetry, and cutting-edge special effects. The show transports guests into a magical circus setting, featuring aerialists and mystical creatures brought to life through seamless integration of stagecraft and AV tech.

Ambiance at Dark Universe

At Dark Universe, you can come face to face with the Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Invisible Man! Dark Universe will utilize amazing special effects to set the tone and enhance the eerie ambiance even further. This area features synchronized flames and atmospheric lighting, among other effects.

According to a statement from Jeff Polk, executive VP and general manager of Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort in a Blooloop article, “You’ll enter through this electrified portal, you’ll see electricity coursing through all the buildings throughout the entire world, through the town of Darkmoor.”
