AI Sessions on June 16

To kick things off, on Tuesday, June 16, there will be four sessions structured around AI, including a new, longer event featuring several expert voices – the AVIXA AI Accelerator. Here are some more details about all the AI education sessions happening on June 16.

Legrand: AI in the AV Industry: Foundations, Applications, and Impact

Start off your Tuesday morning with some coffee and AI insights! This session, led by Blake Brubaker, Technical Sales Application Engineer for Legrand, and Bob Griffin, Technical Sales Application Engineer for Legrand AV, is designed to empower integrators, designers, and technology managers to make informed decisions about deploying AI-driven AV solutions. You’ll explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming AV – from machine vision and object-based programming to predictive analytics and edge computing.

The session will start at 8:00 AM on June 16, in W205/W206, and you can earn 1 CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or ANP RU for attending. Add this informative, 60-minute session to your InfoComm schedule to gain insights into AI opportunities, challenges, and ethical considerations unique to the AV industry!

Pushing the Boundaries: Current Design Methods and Technologies in Practice

This introductory session will explore how advanced technologies such as AI, virtual reality (VR), building information modeling (BIM), Revit, CAD, advanced rendering, benchmarking, and more are transforming workflows, collaboration, and outcomes. 

Speakers Jim Maltese, VP of Quality Standards - Level 3 Audiovisual, and Aaron Evans, Solutions Architect Manager - Level 3 Audiovisual, will host the session from 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM, and it will be located in W211/W212. If you attend this session, you can earn 1 CTS RU. Also, if you have the Premier Pass or Essentials Pass, this session is included with your pass!

AVIXA AI Accelerator

Looking for more thorough AI insights? AVIXA’s AI Accelerator is a full day of insights from foundational tools to advanced applications. Learn how to cultivate an AI-driven innovation culture within your organization.

This new session, located in W213/W214, goes on from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, and will include 10 speakers in total from various companies, touching on several topics within the sphere of AI. To attend, it costs $399 for members and $499 for non-members. Currently, session RUs are still TBC (To Be Confirmed) but will be updated soon!

Legrand: Connected Intelligence: AI & RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) in the Cloud

Starting at 2:30 PM, this course will explore how AV system management is transforming through the integration of AI, cloud-based remote monitoring, and open ecosystem standards. Attend and discover how solutions are enabling smarter, more proactive AV environments.

The education session will be led by Andrew Gross, SVP Sales - Xyte.ai, and Steven Hoenig, Sr. Director - Portfolio Expansion Program Management – Legrand. It will be located in W205/W206, and last about 60 minutes. By attending this session, you can earn 1 CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or ANP RU. Plus, it’s included in your pass if you have the Premier Pass, Essentials Pass, or Pro Training Pass.
