A Smarter Refresh for Modern Outdoor Applications

The refreshed Mimo Outdoor Displays build on a trusted platform already deployed across retail, transportation, hospitality, and unattended environments. Rather than a complete redesign, this update focuses on meaningful improvements that support real-world outdoor use: better visibility, stronger environmental protection, and greater lifecycle confidence.

The initial lineup includes 10.1-inch, 21.5-inch, and 32-inch models, with additional sizes planned later in 2026.

Improved Brightness Where It Counts

Visibility is critical for outdoor displays, especially in sunlight-intensive environments. The refreshed lineup delivers increased brightness across all models to ensure clear, readable content throughout the day.

Typical pre-touch brightness levels include:

•  10.1-inch: 1200 nits
•  21.5-inch: 1400 nits
•  32-inch: 1600 nits

Combined with wide viewing angles and high contrast ratios, these displays are well suited for applications such as outdoor kiosks, Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) drive-thrus, retail storefronts, and transit signage.

Engineered for Outdoor Reliability

Outdoor environments present unique challenges, and the refreshed Mimo Outdoor Displays are designed to meet them head-on. Each model features IP65-rated environmental protection, IK08-rated cover glass, and durable aluminum enclosures to withstand exposure to dust, moisture, and physical impact.

The displays undergo rigorous reliability testing, including temperature cycling, humidity exposure, solar loading, and vibration testing, helping ensure dependable operation across a wide range of outdoor conditions. Mechanical refinements such as flush I/O port integration and improved sealing further enhance durability while delivering a cleaner, more modern industrial design.

A Familiar Platform, Ready to Deploy

While the hardware has been refreshed, we have intentionally retained a familiar and reliable platform to simplify upgrades. The displays run Android 14 and support standard AV connectivity, including RJ45, HDMI-out, and USB-A/USB-C, making integration straightforward for both new and existing deployments.

High-efficiency LED backlights rated for 50,000 hours support continuous operation and long-term use in demanding environments.

An Industry-Leading Warranty At No Added Cost

One of the most significant updates to the refreshed Mimo Outdoor Displays is the introduction of a three-year standard warranty, a standout offering in the outdoor display category. This extended warranty reflects Mimo’s confidence in the durability of the new hardware and provides customers with added peace of mind over the life of their deployment.

All models are TAA compliant, manufactured in Taiwan, and are not subject to current tariffs making them well suited for government, enterprise, and large-scale rollouts. Despite the added value, MSRP pricing remains consistent with the previous generation.
