I am a professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the corporate AV industry. My expertise includes the commercial area, the design of AV solutions and installations. As my academic background is architecture, I find it easy to design diagrams and projects. Our projects include solutions for videoconferencing rooms, auditoriums and control centers. We work in partnership with the main players in the world market, where through training we can achieve excellence in our solutions.
I love the AV industry. It provided me with a living that allowed me to support my family since the 1980s. It has allowed me to see interesting places and meet friendly, hard-working people all over North America, all the while being paid. I have worked in hotels, events, conventions, corporate in-house and higher education areas of our field.
Another thing that I have loved about AV is that the technology is always changing; you have to keep your knowledge base current and that has always kept me engaged.
34 year veteran of the audio visual industry. I have been on the manufacturing side as well as the integration side. My experience includes building teams and starting new AV divisions for both small and large companies. I am currently minority owner and COO for a regional player - Strategic Connections.
