I first heard about ChatGPT in the context of academia.  As a parent of a high schooler, I know that there are many advantages and resources online that were not available when I agonized over an essay assignment in my day.  School administrators and teachers are struggling with the best way to acknowledge these technological aids while still reinforcing core writing and analytical skills.  Now, ChatGPT is also being used by job applicants in the writing of cover letters and resumes.  Is this cheating or fraud? According to this article in SHRM, many say no, and that the use of it in fact highlights technological competency and skill, as well as resourcefulness and adaptability, and that it is no different than having a career coach assist with application materials.  Candidates still have to present themselves positively and authentically in interviews.  Recruiters may also start turning to ChatGPT to craft interview questions.   What do you think? Do you foresee larger-scale ChatGPT use in the hiring process?
