We all know that possessing and exhibiting emotional intelligence is a factor in professional success.  Beyond that, this recent article in Fast Company describes how being a "highly sensitive person" ("HSP") can yield greater creativity, increase decision-making capabilities, and build bridges amongst teams.  So next time someone chides you for being "too sensitive," you can boast that this neurodiverse characteristic is actually a tremendous value in the workplace.
