Registration is now open for Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, the world-renowned annual tech show for the systems integration and audiovisual industry. Returning to the Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía from February 4-7, 2025, the ISE team is promising the most dynamic and engaging show yet, with a host of new initiatives.
Last year, the show saw more than 1,400 exhibitors and attracted 73,891 unique verified attendees from 162 countries. And ISE 2025 is set to break record numbers again. There will be unparalleled networking opportunities to connect with peers, industry leaders, and potential partners.
In preparation for the show, let’s learn more about one of our exhibitors, HOLOPLOT, their recent endeavors, and what you can expect from them at ISE.
What is HOLOPLOT?
HOLOPLOT is a pro-audio company from Berlin, Germany, whose journey began with the principle of Wave Field Synthesis. From there, tech like HOLOPLOT’s X1 system, and the X2 Matrix Array were born.
HOLOPLOT has showcased large scale installations at Sphere and Masjid Misr, a 10.000sqm mosque in Cairo. More recently, HOLOPLOT used their technology to bring the hard-techno sound to new heights at The Atmosphere stage for the iconic electronic music festival, Tomorrowland.
The Atmosphere stage, which has been a part of the festival since 2018, consists of a huge tent suspended from an enormous, custom-built crane. With an all-star line-up, a ceiling glittering with thousands of lights, and a 2km long video net containing 120,000 LEDs stretched around its circumference, it’s an impressive stage. But the stage hasn’t been without its challenges, like the highly reflective surfaces causing echoes.
This year, HOLOPLOT’s X1 system was chosen to help with sound control for The Atmosphere stage, where well-known DJs like Amber Broos, Dyen, and Adam Beyer played. The system utilizes two main arrays comprised of six X1 modules each, with six surrounds of two X1 modules each, to create a special musical experience for the over five thousand techno fans that the stage accommodates. Using X1 allows better control of sound, delivering the immersive results of the upmixed content via Areal to the crowd—without echoes. Enabling this are the two core pillars of HOLOPLOT technology: 3D Audio-Beamforming and Wave Field Synthesis.
“Both allow us to control sound in the 3D space,” stated Sebastian Boeldt, Senior Application Engineer at HOLOPLOT, in a HOLOPLOT news release. “We can precisely shape the coverage areas in the audience zone, but also avoid certain shapes of the venue, minimizing reflections and improving the clarity of the performance.”
HOLOPLOT’s horizontal control not only allows for the creation of controllable coverage zones but also the precise gain and delay alignment between them. At ISE 2025, they’ll be giving audio demos, and including a surprise.
“We’ll be demoing both X1 and X2 inside the audio demo rooms and will showcase a brand-new product we’re launching at the show!” commented Jana De Brabant, Senior Communications Manager at HOLOPLOT.
X1 is installed at Sphere in Las Vegas, Lightroom in London and Seoul, and Illuminarium in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Macau.
Additionally, the X2 Matrix Array sets a new standard in sound reinforcement for speech-based and multi-content applications, opening the application options to a wider array of applications and multiple market segments. Like X1, X2 provides an unmatched level of sound control. By focusing sound on the audience area and avoiding reflective surfaces, the X2 MD30 achieves significantly better speech intelligibility than conventional loudspeaker technologies, making it the perfect solution for public address systems, conferences and houses of worship amongst others.
HOLOPLOT has received various awards, including the prestigious industry AV Award “Audio Technology of the Year” and the PLASA “Innovation Award,” as well as “Best in Show” awards from both ISE (‘22, ’23 & ‘24) and InfoComm (‘22 & ‘24).

Thanks! Will you be attending ISE? @Paul Konikowski
I enjoy ISE, but I doubt I can swing it in 2025 (unless Avixa wants to sponsor my trip!)
