IC24 : Sustainability in the AV Industry?
We are one month away from the Infocomm 2024 (IC24) fair and we are all very expectant of the news that the event that brings together AV industry professionals year after year will show us. Which technologies will become trends, what AI (artificial intelligence) and the Metaverse have in store for us, how many people will attend this year, in general all the excitement and adrenaline generated by the important Infocomm fair.
IC24 is also a great opportunity to expand our knowledge and experience in the AV industry, this year's education program is very broad and offers a very interesting range of topics.
And I want to take this opportunity to invite you to continue making a convergence between technology and sustainability practices. We have already talked about how we are facing a very complex challenge in this matter and we must all commit as an industry to do our part.
That is why I urge you to consult the education program that IC24 will offer us this year regarding sustainability. It is very interesting and can help us better understand the problem and know what is being done on different fronts in the industry.
Pay special attention to the SAVe certification. The SAVe Certification Workshop offers a full-day program covering important information on current sustainability topics, a workshop session to identify ways your company can address sustainability goals, and a planning session to turn your ideas into action . And it also offers 6 RUs for CTS.
Another event that can guide you on what the AV industry is doing is Advancing Sustainability in the AV Industry, organized by the AVIXA Sustainability Advisory Group.
Anyway, let's make a very sustainable Infocomm 2024, a few months ago we saw the great progress that the industry had in terms of sustainability at ISE 2024. It is the turn of the AV industry of the American continent to demonstrate our commitment to sustainable development and it is our turn to all those involved in the AV industry to join this effort for the good of all as a human species.
