Gensler has been a longtime champion of sustainability and believes that sustainability and innovation must "progress hand-in-hand". They have now, as a result of two years of research, testing, and synthesis, developed a Digital Experience Sustainability Toolkit.  The toolkit is a strategy framework for sustainable innovation in digital experience design offering a roadmap for climate action strategies in their practice and beyond.

In addition to this actionable framework, they identified the following three key action pillars as drivers of DXD’s sustainability impact: Technology, Design Integration, User Experience
