The use cases for AI in healthcare, from early cancer detection and disease pattern recognition to precision medicine application and healthcare resource management improvement, are exploding. In addition to the strain these technologies are adding to already-stretched institutions, are new methods of delivering care such as remote monitoring and telehealth. These services and new connected devices create enormous amounts of data. Unfortunately, they also create new points of entry for cyber-attacks.
