The detailed JTA outlines all expected job knowledge and skill areas - and can also be used to help prepare for the exam by self evaluating what areas one feels confident with vs. ones they may need to do further study on.
CTS (CTS-I, CTS-D) JTA
The CTS (CTS-I, CTS-D) detailed Job Task Analysis, originally published circa 2017, are still in place. As the JTA is reviewed every ~ 5 years, an update can be expected sometime in the new year.

Prior to taking a staff role with AVIXA I worked supporting AV/IT solutions for both public and private education as a "Technology Manager" (roles including repair, installation, design and project management) as well as a longtime volunteer for AVIXA education and standards programs.
